Terms & Conditions

The rules of the road, in plain English. Last updated 7 September 2026.

1. Who we are

These terms apply when you hire a marquee or equipment from Gazebro ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking you agree to them.

You can reach us by email at hello@gazebro.co or by phone on 07700 900123.

2. Making a booking

  • Submitting the booking form on this website is a request, not a confirmed contract.
  • Your booking is confirmed once we have accepted it and told you so by email or phone.
  • We hold your chosen date while we check the details. If we cannot fulfil the booking we will tell you promptly and nothing will be charged.
  • You must be 18 or over to make a booking.
  • Please make sure the details you give us - address, access, surface and date - are accurate. Getting these wrong on the day can prevent installation.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices shown on the website are for the hire period stated, currently a 24-hour hire unless you have booked extra days.
  • We will confirm the total price, including any extras and any delivery charge, when we accept your booking.
  • Payment terms are confirmed at the point we accept your booking. No payment is taken through this website.
  • Prices may change from time to time, but never for a booking we have already confirmed.

4. Delivery, setup and collection

  • We deliver, install and collect the marquee within Gnosall and the surrounding area, subject to the delivery area and any charge we agree with you.
  • We will agree a delivery window with you in advance. Someone aged 18 or over must be present when we deliver.
  • The site must be clear, reasonably level and accessible when we arrive. If it is not, we may be unable to install the marquee and the hire charge may still apply.
  • You must tell us about any buried services - pipes, cables, irrigation, drainage - before we peg anything into the ground.
  • We will collect at an agreed time, usually the day after your event. Please make sure we can get access.

5. Your responsibilities during the hire

While the marquee and any equipment are on your property, they are your responsibility. Please:

  • Do not move, alter, re-site or dismantle the marquee yourself.
  • Do not attach anything to the frame or covers that could damage them.
  • Never use a barbecue, fire pit, patio heater, candle, open flame or any fuel-burning appliance inside or against the marquee.
  • Do not smoke inside the marquee.
  • Keep the marquee clear of anything that could damage the covers, and supervise children and pets around the frame, ropes and pegs.
  • Use any electrical equipment we supply in accordance with the instructions we give you, with a suitable outdoor-rated power supply, and keep it dry.
  • Take reasonable care of the equipment and keep it secure.

6. Weather and safe use

Our marquees are temporary structures. They are designed for typical British summer conditions, including rain and light to moderate wind, but they are not permanent buildings and we do not guarantee performance in severe weather.

  • If, in our reasonable judgement, weather conditions mean the marquee cannot be installed, used or left standing safely, we may postpone the hire, take the marquee down early, or cancel.
  • Where we cancel or cut a hire short for safety reasons, we will refund the hire charge for the part of the hire you did not receive.
  • You must contact us straight away if the weather deteriorates, if the marquee is damaged, or if anything about it looks unsafe. Do not attempt to fix or take down the marquee yourself.
  • You should not use the marquee during a storm, a severe weather warning or high winds.

Safety comes ahead of the party, every time. We would much rather move a date than take a risk with a structure in your garden.

7. Damage, loss and cleaning

  • Fair wear and tear is expected and never charged for.
  • You are responsible for the cost of repair or replacement where the marquee or equipment is damaged, lost or stolen during the hire through misuse, neglect or the actions of you or your guests.
  • If the marquee is returned excessively dirty - beyond what a normal party produces - we may charge a reasonable cleaning cost.
  • We will always tell you about any charge, with an explanation, before applying it.

8. Cancellations and changes

  • To cancel or change a booking, contact us as soon as you can.
  • We will always try to move a booking to another available date rather than cancel it.
  • Cancellation charges, if any, depend on how much notice you give and will be confirmed to you when we accept your booking.
  • If we have to cancel for any reason other than your breach of these terms, you will receive a full refund of anything you have paid.

9. Liability

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for loss caused by your failure to follow the safety requirements in section 5 or 6.
  • We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
  • The marquee is supplied for private, domestic use. We are not liable for business losses.
  • Your own contents, belongings and equipment inside the marquee are not covered by our insurance.

10. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If something goes wrong, tell us - we would far rather put it right than argue about it.

11. Data protection

We handle your personal information in line with our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when we accepted it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
